Legendary Clarity, East Shore, Lake Tahoe

5-121. The East Shore of Lake Tahoe has many rocky points & sandy coves, the area around Sand Harbor State Park is one of my favorite. The hiking trail north of the boat ramp leds to this rocky point, The elevated view point really brings out the amazing colors in the water as the sandy bottom gets deeper. I shot this panorama as 3 separate photographs, that are then displayed next to each other to show the wide angle view.

This Panorama is made from a sequence of 3 separate photos,
shot one after the other on Fuji Velvia slide film. I then scan the slides to get the digital files to print from
this contemporary style:
where each of the photos are printed on canvas and gallery wrapped
when they are hung next to each other they form a complete panoramic image.
as this is limited edition that is almost sold out, I am starting to add a premium to its pricing.

commonly called a "Metal Print", there are a couple of different ways to transfer an image onto metal.
My Lab uses the sublimation printing process, where using a heat press, the digital file is used to imprint the image into the special coating on a sheet of aluminum.
the Finnish I use is glossy. The standard mount, priced bellow, is a "floating mount" where the photograph appears to float 3/4 inch away from the wall, a premium flush mount is also available.
